Media and the presidential election
Biden is out of the picture, and it is not a day to early. Media has claimed that Biden was functional, that he had gotten better with age and that he should be judged on his achievements, in media compared to those of FDR and LBJ. Anything suggesting he was in decline was a paranoid lie. However, voters were confused as they witnessed a president who froze up, who wandered off, who spoke incoherently. Dark forces in power decided to have a TV debate in June between the presidential contenders, Biden and Trump. Never in history has there been a presidential debate that early. The format was arranged so both candidates be seen all the time and when it was not your turn, the microphone was muted. Biden was trapped, there was no place to hide. Viewers were shocked as they watched the president mumble, fumble, and ramble. Clearly out of it, borderline senile, and a few weeks later he was pushed aside by the democratic party and replaced by Kamala Harris as the candidate in the November election.
Voters are relieved, in particular democrats, as there is no way Joe Biden could have beaten Donald Trump. All this time, Biden was accused of hiding from the press, never give interviewed, published material had to be edited by the White House before release and Biden’s answers were scripted. Was he ever functional since 2021? It is not clear. So who is making decisions then and who is actually running the country? What does the Deep State really mean? It is clear that there are powers that are much more powerful than the president and the media seems to be part of that. Media has given thumbs up for years about Biden, but the question is who has been behind the policy and agenda? Biden has always been a moderate, but the Biden administration has conducted a radical progressive agenda, with heavy government build-up and massive spending programs. Was Biden even ever involved?
Kamala Harris has been perceived as the most ineffective VP ever, who basically has not been involved in anything during the last few years. It is unclear what she has been doing, resulting in her unpopularity. Suddenly though, the same party and the same media outlets that lied about Joe Biden without compunction or remorse now want to credit everything positive to the marvelous, heretofore unappreciated qualities of Kamala Harris. This is the same VP, who recently told voters that Joe Biden was vigorous and energetic and a true leader. She was part of the cover-up of the mentally and physically declining Joe Biden, who should never have been president in the first place.
In the new presidential race between Harris and Trump, media has suddenly rewritten Harris entire career, or at least purified it. Media is trying to portrait Harris as a moderate, as that is what most voters are looking for. In 2019, GovTrack labeled Harris the most liberal senator, further to the left of socialist Bernie Sanders, but this month GovTrack deleted the website after pressure from the Deep State. Omissions are lies and then there are blatant media lies such as claims that border crossings are lower today than when the previous administration left office. This is just not true as millions of illegals have poured into the U.S. during the Biden years in an effort by the democratic party to get more votes.
Despite a career of no direct achievements and a tendency to use platitudes and seem remarkably unknowledgeable, Harris still has a chance to win. Nobody wants an angry old man in the White House who talks about a stolen 2020 election. Trump needs to calm down in order to win the election and focus on content. Harris is a far-left candidate whatever media writes and Trump needs to emphasize this and contrast that to his ideas about the American future. Can he do that? It is not clear at this point. The U.S. seems to be a country in decline morally, culturally, and economically and this election seems to fit in the overall picture. There are endless lies and nastiness, and media and fake news are intertwined into an American soap opera.
